Full Head Highlights
Maximum brightness and dimension throughout the entire head. Best for clients who want a noticeably lighter overall look or significant colour transformation.
Half Head Highlights
Highlights placed across the top and sides of the head for a lighter, dimensional look without the full commitment or cost of a full-head application.
T-Section Highlights
Highlights applied along the parting and fringe area — a subtle, low-cost option that adds brightness around the face without lightening the rest of the hair.
Face-Framing Highlights
A small selection of highlights placed specifically around the face to brighten your complexion and add warmth. Quick, affordable, and incredibly flattering.
Babylights
Very fine, delicate highlights placed close to the scalp to mimic natural childhood hair colouring. Creates the most subtle and realistic multi-tonal effect.
Highlights vs Balayage
Which Technique Is Right for You?

Highlights use foils to isolate sections of hair and apply lightener precisely. This gives more control over the result — the degree of lift, the thickness of sections, and the overall placement can all be adjusted exactly. The result tends to be brighter and more uniform than balayage.
Balayage is hand-painted directly onto the hair without foils, creating a softer, more diffused result. The grow-out is more natural and typically requires less frequent appointments. If you want something subtle and low-maintenance, balayage is usually the better choice.
Not sure which is right for you? Our colourists will recommend the best approach based on your hair type, lifestyle, and goals at your initial consultation.
What to Expect
Your Highlights Appointment
Colour Consultation
Your colourist talks through the look you want, assesses your hair condition, and recommends the right type, placement, and degree of lift — so there are no surprises on the day.
Section & Foiling
Hair is divided into precise sections and lightener is applied using foils. The placement, thickness, and number of foils are all tailored to your chosen look and hair type.
Processing & Toning
Once the target lift is achieved, foils are removed and a Keune toner applied to neutralise any brassiness, add depth, and deliver the exact shade discussed in your consultation.
Blow Dry & Style
Your appointment finishes with a professional blow dry so you leave the salon with the full result. Your colourist will advise on aftercare and how long to wait before your next visit.
