Hello Beauty brings different disciplines together at one Edinburgh salon. The team includes qualified hair stylists, a dedicated colourist, artists working across makeup and hair, and a nail artist specialising in BIAB and hard gel. Each person's role and specialisms are listed here so clients can understand the experience relevant to the service they are considering.

Katie's background connects the salon's hair and makeup work. She holds a BA (Hons) Makeup Artistry and Hair Design and a VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma (SCQF 6) in Hairdressing. With 15+ years in the creative industries, she works as a Makeup Master and Hair Designer. Katie founded Hello Beauty in 2024 and now serves as Salon Lead Artist & Founder.

Formal hairdressing qualifications are also represented across the team. Jenny, Maria and Vicky each hold the VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma (SCQF 6) in Hairdressing. Their published areas of focus are deliberately distinct: Jenny specialises in precision cuts and styling; Maria in colour transformations, balayage and highlights; and Vicky in hair styling, cutting and finishing.

Devin holds a BA (Hons) Makeup Artistry and Hair Design and specialises in glam makeup and bridal styling. Laraib is a Nail Design Specialist and BIAB and Hard Gel Expert. Pavel manages the salon. Together these roles provide a clear route to the team member and discipline relevant to a planned haircut, colour, style, makeup look or nail appointment.

Alongside the formal qualifications listed above, the team continues its professional development through ongoing professional masterclasses. These include specialist makeup artistry for deeper skin tones. We describe training in these precise terms so clients can distinguish formal qualifications from continuing skills development.

Katie established Hello Beauty in 2024. The salon at 13 South Charlotte Street is the shared setting for its hair, makeup and nail team. Pavel manages the salon while Katie combines her founder and Salon Lead Artist responsibilities with her work in makeup and hair design.
